About
I’m KahWee Teng.
I’m a software engineer. Most days I have an editor open, an AI agent running in another terminal, and at least one project that has gone slightly off-script.
Some of that work happens on web applications. Some of it happens on the NAS and Home Assistant setup in my house. Lately it has also involved Rust, a stubborn Kasa power strip, and a pocket thermal printer.
I usually start writing after the documentation stops being useful. That might be a migration that took longer than promised, a cheap model that needed constant steering, or a container that failed because one SQLite file belonged to the wrong user.
I put the source code on GitHub when I can. LinkedIn has the professional version of me. X gets the shorter thoughts that do not need a whole post.
